We bloggers are fortunate to have the work of two hardy nudists, Angel and Cidi, for their "Freedom Walk" on Barcelona's streets and plazas. In a sunny but chilly day in March 2010 the two shed their clothes and took a stroll amid passersby who were bundled up. These gentlemen appeared on the blog on February 16 as they walked past Maremagnum, a popular new center for dining, shopping and music. Today we'll see them as they walk along a broad sidewalk lined with beautiful palms. Many of their fellow walkers seem to be nonchalant about their nakedness. You can see for yourself. Enjoy!

Unfortunately their naked stroll may be the last, unless the pair are willing to chance substantial fines. In May 2011 the Barcelona city council passed legislation banning nudity and semi-nudity in city streets. Two beaches in the city remain available for sunbathing sans swimsuits. Tomorrow we'll look at Angel and Citi's trip to the beach.
