Lord Godiva

As the tale goes, Lady Godiva rode nude on horseback through the town to protest the excessive taxes that her husband imposed on villagers. Two thoughts come to mind: What if the shoe were on the other food, and Mrs. G. were in charge of the town? Would her husband react in the same way? Also, why do today's Tea Party activists not take their crusade to Washington sans clothing? If they want change, they ought to get some skin in the game.
