One month after voters in Washington State approved the state's marriage equality referendum, same-sex couples can now be legally wed. One of the first couples to commit themselves to a life together obtained their license the moment the referendum took effect on Dec. 6. Larry Duncan, 56, left, and Randy Shepherd, 48, are now husband and husband. They have been together for 11 years. Originally from Dallas, Texas, they moved to Washington because it's more gay friendly. Larry is a retired psychology nurse, and Randy is a computer programmer. Best wishes to the happy couple!
