The seafront sports bars, restaurants, nightclubs and amusement arcades. And consider these facts: in the United Kingdom, Brighton has more restaurants per capita than anywhere but London. It has the UK's second largest arts festival and the largest fringe festival. The city is becoming a digital media center, and is sometimes called the "Silicon Beach" of Britain. One of Brighton's constituencies elected the first Green Party member of Parliament.
