Phallic snow

Got some time and some snow? That's what 16-year-old Ryan Worthington had last month when he erected a 12-foot-high snow penis in his mom's front yard. It started out as a joke, but soon became "a national sensation," as the Huffington Post put it. The snow phallus attracted dozens of onlookers in the Worthington's home in near South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Most chuckled and took pictures. A few prudish people were offended. The sculpture got its own posting on Facebook.

The snow penis started as a 6-foot-tall joke but soon began engorged, reaching its full 12 feet until traffic began gathering and local outrage began growing. As they say in the TV commercials, get help if your Viagra erection persists for too long. The penis soon became flaccid. All that's left now is a big pair of balls, Ryan's mother Raylene told the Huffington Post.
