This is my little spinoff of the 1965 British comedy film, "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines." The film pokes fun at the rivalries between competing fliers whose patriotic impulses quickly overtake a simple air race from London to Paris. The movie is set in 1910, just seven years after the Wright Brothers' historic flight, and the aviators' rickety contraptions is a running joke. It's a nice movie, populated with a range of actors, from Robert Morley and Terry-Thomas to Sarah Miles and Stuart Whitman. So what does the movie have to do with naked men riding around on bicycles in the city? Nothing, actually. I was searching for a headline, and this popped into my head.
