Cyril Descours in 'Complices' in 2009

Complices is a 2009 French film on the exploits of two detectives in their 40s working on a sickening murder case involving a young man, played by Cyril Descours, who engages in a romantic friendship with a teen-age girl. In fact, the man is a homosexual Internet hustler. The girl disappears and the man is murdered. In their search of the life and death of the two young people, the detectives are confronted by the failures in their own life. Descours, of French-German descent, has numerous film credits.

Zach McGowan in 'Shameless' in 2012

Shameless is a Showtime comedy-drama that follow the dysfunctional family of a single father of six children who live on the South Side of Chicago. The show focuses on how the father's alcoholism affects his family. Zach McGowan plays Jody Silverman, a man who meets a woman at a Sex Alcoholics meeting. McGowan appears fully naked in one of the episodes. The 2012-13 show features well-known actors, including William H. Macy as the father, and Joan Cusack. 

Sal Mineo

Salvatore "Sal" Mineo was an American film and theater actor, best known for his performance as John "Plato" Crawford opposite James Dean in the film Rebel Without a Cause. Twice he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards for his roles in Rebel and Exodus. Typecast as an outsider, his career waned. In the late 1960s he became the first major American actor to declare himself gay. Mineo was stabbed to death in an alley behind his apartment building in West Hollywood, California, in 1979 at age 37.

Christopher Atkins

Christopher Atkins is best known for his role as Richard in the 1980 film The Blue Lagoon, one of mainstream movies that showed nudity. Atkins and Brooke Shields played teen-age cousins who were stranded on an island without hope of rescue. They lived alone, eventually becoming lovers. Both actors wore scantily clad clothing, and Atkins appeared nude in several scenes, including a glimpse of full frontal nudity. Atkins later posed nude in Playgirl magazine in 1982. He also became a popular pinup. Atkins, now age 52, remains an active actor.

Deileben consists of three 90-minute features made for German television that created a good deal of buzz at the 2011 Berlin film festival. The parts of the trilogy are separate but form a single plot: a murderer in custody is brought to a hospital to visit his dying mother, and he uses the opportunity to escape. Matschenz plays a social-climbing med student.

Hunting Season is a comedy-drama inspired by the by the blog "The Great Cock Hunt." The series is presented in serial form in webisodes, each lasting 8 to 12 minutes. It follows the romantic and sexual exploits of Alex and his group of friends in New York City. A censored version was subsequently broadcast on Logo TV.
